It's not exactly rocket science, but ...

I just filed my very first GST return online.

This holiday just keeps getting more and more exciting !!!

Now I'm off to fold socks ...

Wherein Kassi take a holiday ...

So we're on school holidays, which is supposed to be great, seeing as I work at a school and that school holidays equates to time off work and the opportunity to do things I don't have time for during the term.

I, very optimistically, made myself a list (yep, you know me and my lists !!) of things I wanted to do over the break. A list of fun, creative, exciting things that will enable me to fully utilise "my very own room" that I haven't set foot in since I claimed it.

My list went like this :-
- Spend quality time with the rugrats
- Make jewellery with S
- Make a necklace for the pendant I bought in Rarotonga
- Finish painting canvases for S' room
- Start painting canvases for K's room
- Make cushion covers for S' room
- Paint my toenails in anticipation of my feet seeing sunlight sometime soon
- Play Shrek and Jungle Buzz on the PS2 with the rugrats

So far the list of my accomplishments for the holidays goes something like this :-
- Work
- Catch up on sleep
- Paperwork
- Work
- Laundry
- Vacuum and clean the entire house (in preparation for a visit by the MOTH's folks that took less time than it took me to actually vacuum the lounge)
- Baking a banana cake (I loathe banana cakes !!!)
