The good as well as the bad ?

When I first started this blog, I had lofty ideals. It was going to contain witty anecdotes about how adorable the rugrats are, amusing commentaries on life around me, humourous comments about my experiences .... pfffft !!!

For the past week the rugrats have been at each other's throats before the MOTH and I climb out of bed in the mornings.
They can't even clean their teeth in the same room without it turning into a war.
The woman who runs their after-school programme informed us they were having a full-scale fist fight when she arrived to collect them on Wednesday.
They can't do a single thing they're told without arguing about it ... or just plain not doing it.
Yesterday there were tears before breakfast because K couldn't go to rugby practice as the MOTH was working out of town ... which turned into bad temper and a punch up with his little sister.
And they haven't said anything cute or funny in weeks.

Who broke my kids ? And don't tell me it's just a phase ...

Well my brother and I fight a fair bit and we are in our 40's. Now that dosen't sound encouraging but, He has also smacked people for saying things behind my back and I have defended him to when i know he was right.
It will pass. You can always tell them if they keep acting that was that you would send them off to school wearing the others clothes and everyone will laugh at them.

Have a nice weekend

My kids went through a stage where they bickered with each other all the time. I couldn't understand why...they'd always always been the best of friends.

They still bicker occasionally, but not like they did when they were around the age of your two. In other words I'm sorry to say it, but it IS a phase lol
