The diet that wasn't ...
The MOTH realised on the weekend that in just over two months we are flying up to Auckland so he can be groomsman at his best friend's wedding.
This realisation came at roughly the same time as he realised that the camera adds 5kg and that he's put on a teensy bit of weight since we moved to Dunedin (it's too cold for salad ... think more along the lines of mashed potato and gravy !!!)
So (being the good little wife I am) I went out and bought electronic scales, banished potato chips and chocolate chip cookies from the grocery shopping, and stocked up on broccoli !!!!
All of which ended after less than 48 hours ... at exactly the moment that he realised just how small a thin slice of homemade bread is, and that dessert equals coffee and no cookie.
He says he's going to take up jogging ...

bet he gets the shits with running in the middle of winter pretty quick.
Walking is good though - gives you time to take in the sights without puffing n blowing.
I think it's more a case of him hoping the "weight loss fairy" will fly in with a miraculous "you too can lose 5kg in eight weeks by doing absolutely nothing" plan ...
god i wish
I go to the damn gym every day
I'm GAINING weight n it aint muscle (there I am toning up some but not getting bigger).
Its driving me nuts.
I'm eating less n exercising more n still gaining weight oh well
tell moth to go doctor n ask for duromine (active ingredient phnetermine) itll knock off 4 or 5 kilos in that 8 weeks. Itll work although he will probably put on 2 or 3 again after stopping it.
