What sort of Italian restaurant doesn't serve canneloni, has run out of lasagne, and can't make me fettucine carbonara because the bacon supplier is due tomorrow ?
The sort I won't be going back to ....

I work on a simple theory:
If I havent been there b4 i order spag Bolognaise. I reckon if they screw THAT up they wont be much use for ANYTHING else from Italy now will they?
Besides which even the worst spag bol ive ever had was at least edible. so even if they screw it up you can still eat it without feeling like chucking up - you just pencil them in on the list of 'dont eat there' restaurants.
My mates' wife still holds my personal record for worlds best spag bol btw - havent been to a restaurant yet which can top it - everywhere from LA to Sydney.
I'm thinkin' you've asked this question enough now....move along and tell us what you been up to...and where I can get the best coffee in New Zealand...(precise co-ordinates that is, not just a general area, right?? lol you never know, I might have to campervan my way in that direciton eventually!)
