Me : "Isn't the correct word octopii ?"
S : "Ewwwwwww, yuk !!!"
Me : "Hrmmm ?!?!?"
S : "Octopus pie ... gross !!!"

plural of octopus should be octopoi, octo and pus being greek for 8 legs, then the greek plural is oi. the ii ending is Latin and ergo plainly wrong wrong wrong in its wrongness.

If the wrongness is wrong, doesn't that make it a double-negative, ergo, a positive, ergo the wrong wrongness is, therefore, correct ?
