The sounds of summer ...

So it's a gorgeous day here in Dunedin. We've all liberated our summer clothing (and the glare off winter-white legs in some cases is somewhat blinding !!!)

And what heralds the onset of warmer weather better than throwing wide the windows at work to let in the summer air ?

The minor flaw in this plan (which has become significantly less minor as the morning wears on) is that our office is situated right next to a daycare centre ... the inhabitants (or should that be inmates ?) of which are also making the most of the fine weather by spending the day outside.

Unfortunately, the kids are having a bad day ...

Is there anything more annoying than the sound of a three year old having a temper tantrum ... for two hours ?

Update :-
It's now 1.34pm and he's still crying and screaming. Or maybe it's another kid and they're taking turns to pi$$ us off ?

HIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N no there is NOTHING more annoying than some little snotbreath wailing for 2 hours straight cuz cuz cuz cuz HE CAN (or she). little bastards
I blame their parents for not putting them in the army. Dose of the army would straighten em out quick smart.

then I'd go on a STFO tour (sort the fuckers out) a concept coined by my brother in law whenever he sees shit that shits him. he used to start muttering 'like to sort the fuckers out' then when he had enough to sort out he decided a 'tour' would be a good idea n STFO tours was born. ramble ramble.

news flash kassi DONT open ya window hun n no screaming mewling lil brats will disturb ya.
or you could chloroform them. Or slip some codeine into their milk. chill em right out.

a better response is to report suspected neglect or abuse to the authorities. Letting a child cry for that long is clearly being an irresponsible caregiver and neighbor.

One of my ex tenants had her 18 month old niece stay with her for a few weeks. There was no discipline involved and the little girl drove me insane with her crying for ages on end. I went downstairs and asked my tenant if she'd like me to be of any help (she was trying to break the child in on some sleeping programme), but she said nope. I was prepared to do anything to stop the howling coming up through my floorboards lol

We've been having some gorgeous weather up here too...I love all this sunshine...makes you feel so motivated!
