Where have you been ?!?!?

After four weeks hard work, we've finally left Whangarei. We're driving south ... we left this morning with Dunedin our final destination. Having promised the rugrats a week in Fiji as compensation for the insane hours their father has been working, and that no longer a possibility, the road trip to Dunedin has become our family holiday.

We're travelling in two cars, so are using RTs to communicate. Being who I am ... we're running late for our first visit to say goodbye, so I'm panicking slightly. Over the RT comes "... just think, after today, no more deadlines ... we have two weeks to get to the South Island"

After a moments thought there's an excited little voice from the seat beside me. "Cool !! Are we going to the South Island ?"

We don't call it "Planet Possum" for nothing !
